Taking Back Sunday is a band I’ll see just about anytime they come through Philadelphia, but some times are more exciting than others. After they released their first album, two key members departed the band, including one who contributed a significant amount of vocals to their music. That’s what always drew me in about the band – the dual vocals. Early in 2010 they started teasing the fanbase, and all signs pointed to the original lineup re-uniting. Shortly after they confirmed that this was the case. A tour was announced, including a June 24th date in Philadelphia. While this wasn’t the first time I had seen them perform live, this was the first time I was able to see the band with the original lineup. It was the first time I was able to hear songs off their album Tell All Your Friends, sounding just like the album that had been recorded years prior.
