Valencia was a band based out of Philadelphia, PA. There is something special about being a fan of a band that calls your area home, and the unique opportunities that come with that. For several years they would perform a Christmas show that I always made an effort to make. In 2006, I attended their holiday show that included Boys Like Girls, Envy on the Coast, and Capitol Risk. It took place at Starlight Ballroom, a venue that I never heard of before, and only returned to one more time. It was the first of many holiday shows that I would attend.
