The Academy Is…opened up for the All American Rejects on November 15th, 2005 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. It was the second concert that I ever attended. I vividly remember the day the tour dates were announced, it happened to be the same day that the band Panic! At the Disco released their album. When I reflect on perfect normal days, it’s that day that comes to mind. The excitement of a new date to add to my calendar, my parents agreeing to take me and my friend Lauren. In anticipation of the concerts, we made our own matching T-Shirts that were a nod to my favorite song, “Skeptics and True Believers”.
